Abstract:

This field is the embodiment of ideas of several minds advanced for the maintenance of life activities including both animals and plants. Keeping in view the interest of humans, the body activities undergo several types of movements but adopt the posture which provides it with comfort level. Since man (Homosapiens), the highly evolved species exploits different movements of the body bestowed upon by supernatural power and selects the comfortable posture either natural or the compromised one. This field centers upon Ergonomics, Kinesiology etc. and carries the contribution of several authors who are pioneers in their views and the paper reflects how this field was evolved and who can be awarded the honor of the "Father of Biomechanics".
